Small for a Reason
This cheese is small for a reason. It has been the same size – small or large, depending on how you see it – since it was first made over 100 years ago. Same place, same recipe, same craftsmanship, but with a brand new future.
Now it is a small dairy that takes it from the countryside of Sweden to stores and breakfast tables all across Sweden. A small dairy brave enough to stand its ground when others insisted on growing, moving and becoming something else.
A small dairy that fights for great taste, for Swedish farmers, and for keeping its little cheese exactly as it is.

From Sweden's Happy Farmers
Behind the production stands Glada Bonden (The Happy Farmer), a powerful alliance of Swedish milk producers who drive the production to develop the Swedish dairy market.
The short journey from production to table provides greater flexibility and stability. It means better products that are easier to understand – where they come from and the good they do.
Locally produced, fairly priced, fresh and delicious. We want to preserve and develop Swedish cheese culture – for the benefit of farmers, retailers and consumers.
